We are located in a quiet area of the downtown on the pedestrian area called Srt. Republicii no.15 map location. It is a commercial area entirely occupied by shops and cafes whose program runs until around 8 p.m. Located in downtown, the possibility of accessing different points of interest, day or night, is extremely comfortable taking just a few minutes walk. By car, the area is easy to be accessed, close to E60 ( former E 15 or DN 1) passing through Oradea making the connection between Budapest, Cluj and Bucharest. Although on a pedestrian area, car access is possible on the following streets which intercept Str. Republicii: M. Eminescu Street and Gh. Dima Street; the hotel being situated at the half distance between the two streets.
Oradea is the largest town on the western border of Romania at 10 km distance from the border with Hungary (Borş-Ártánd Customs), with more than 200,000 inhabitants. The main attraction of the town is the architecture left by the Austrian Imperial rule (1692-1867), then the Austro-Hungarian (1867-1919), especially the Art of 1900, its downtown mostly built at the end of 19th century and the beginning of the 20th, in „secession” style, heritage buildings, extremely interesting, opulent and decorative. Moreover, the stylish building named „Veiszlovits Lajos House”, hosting the Qiu spaces, dates from 1910-1911 and it is the only building in Str. Republicii designed by the hungarian architect Frigyes Spiegel (1866-1933) being one of the greatest names of the beginning of the 20th century’s architecture and the first building in „secession” style both in Hungary and Oradea.
